A trough from the above cyclonic circulation extends across Haryana and West Madhya Pradesh to south-east Madhya Pradesh, lying at a height of 0.9 km.
Another cyclonic circulation lies over West Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas.
A cyclonic circulation has formed over West Rajasthan and adjoining areas between 1.5 to 3.1 km height.
A cyclonic circulation lies near north coastal Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha, stretching up to 5.8 km above sea level and tilting southwestwards with height.
A trough from the above circulation extends up to Coastal Karnataka across Chhattisgarh, Marathwada and interior Karnataka, between 3.1 to 5.8 km height.
A Western Disturbance lies as a trough in the mid-tropospheric westerly winds, north of 62°E longitude and 28°N latitude, at a height of 5.8 km.
Weather Changes
During the last 24 hours, heat wave to severe heat wave conditions were recorded in many parts of western Rajasthan.
Heat wave conditions prevailed in eastern Rajasthan, parts of Madhya Pradesh and Delhi.
Heat wave also occurred in some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand.
Goa, coastal Karnataka, Lakshadweep and Andaman-Nicobar Islands received light to moderate rainfall with heavy rains at some places.
