Government telecom company BSNL, which is known for its cheap and trusted recharge plans, is now going to start its own 5G service. But the most important thing is that BSNL has sought suggestions from the public for the name of this service.

BSNL recently posted a post on social media platform X (first Twitter) and urged people to suggest names for their 5G service.
The last date to send the name was on 13 June at 5 pm.

BSNL’s 4G service is entirely based on technology made in the country.

For this reason, 4G launch was delayed slightly, but now the company is also ready for 5G trials.

BSNL is now preparing to compete with private companies.

The work of setting up 1 lakh 4G towers in the first phase will be completed this month.

Of these, 93,000 towers have already been installed, the remaining 7,000 will be taken this month.

Minister of State for Communications Chandrashekhar Pemmasani said that 1 lakh more towers will also be installed in the second phase.

The Department of Telecommunications (DOT) will soon start the process of approving the 5G service from the cabinet.

Along with this, plans are also being made to strengthen BSNL’s cash flow, bring new technologies and increase earnings from assets.

According to TRAI, BSNL has more than 9 million active wireless users.

Even though some users have returned to other companies due to the network’s problems, a large number of people are still relying on BSNL.
