Senior actor Govind Namdev was recently engulfed in a controversy, when 31 -year -old actress Shivangi Verma shared a photo of the set of the film ‘Gaurishankar Goharganj’ with him and wrote in the caption, “There is no age of love…”. After this post, a round of rumors started on social media that both are dating each other.

Later Shivangi made a controversial remarks in gestures, in which he wrote, “The elderly go to Sathia.” This entire case has hurt Govind Namdev deeply and he has talked about taking legal action against Shivangi to harm his image.

Picture created ruckus, promotion became controversy
Govind Namdev clarified that the photo was part of a general discussion, in which there was talk of sharing a romantic picture according to the story of the film, so that the film could get some discussion. But Shivangi posted that picture as if it was his real life story.

“There was no mention of the film, character or story in that post. It seemed that there was a personal relationship between me and him.”

The actor clearly said, “I felt that the image I created in 40 years were ruined in one stroke.” He spoke to the director, who also believed that the matter had gone a lot and now the only solution is to ask for Shivangi apologizes.

Govind Namdev told that after the shooting of the film was over, he never contacted Shivangi and now he has completely removed him from his life. They said,
“Forgiveness is given only to those who have an emotional connection. There was never a personal relationship between me and Shivangi.”

“I am considering legal action”
Govind Namdev said that if Shivangi makes negative comments even further, then he will take legal action. However, if Shivangi publicly apologizes and tries to compensate for the loss of his image, he would like to end the matter there.
