There is news of relief for people struggling with scorching heat in Delhi and its surrounding areas. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that in the coming days, many states of North India including Delhi-NCR may receive good rain with strong winds. Due to this, the temperature is likely to fall slightly and people will get some relief from the heat.
According to meteorologists, the weather patterns will change in many parts of North India in the next few days. There is a possibility of cloud cover, cold winds and light to moderate rains. Due to this change, the maximum temperature in the area can be 40 degrees and the minimum temperature can be around 28 degrees Celsius.
On 16 and 17 June, rain is forecast with thunderstorms in Delhi, UP, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and surrounding areas. A two -day red alert has been issued for Punjab and Haryana, while in eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, strong winds and rain have been warned. Red alert has been implemented in some parts of Rajasthan, fearing heavy rains.
Rainfall may begin in Bihar from June 15 and there is a possibility of rain and lightning in most parts of the state by June 20. On the other hand, the possibility of monsoon arriving in Raipur, Chhattisgarh has also been expressed. There has been a slight increase in temperature, but orange alert has been issued in many districts.
