The Jaipur Meteorological Center has flagged potential meteorological hazards in many areas, including strong winds and lightning in divisions like Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota and Bharatpur.

Specific districts with heavy rain warning today include:

Dungarpur

Pratapgarh

Rajsamand

Sirohi

Udaipur

Western disturbance active

A new western disturbance is becoming active near Rajasthan, which is responsible for triggering this weather change. This system is expected to intensify rainfall and wind activity in the coming days.

Temperature expected to drop

Due to the current weather pattern, the IMD has predicted a drop of 3 to 4 degrees Celsius in the maximum temperature in the next 24 hours, which will bring much relief from the ongoing heat.

Rain to continue till June 20

Light rain has already been recorded in many cities, and this changing trend of weather is expected to continue till June 20, after which rainfall activity may increase further across the state.
