The inaugural match of the Women's ODI World Cup will occur on Tuesday, September 30, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, where the host nation India will face Sri Lanka. Under a hybrid model, the Pakistan cricket team will play all its matches at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Alongside India, the tournament will include teams from Australia, Bangladesh, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. The format consists of a round-robin stage followed by knockout rounds, culminating in two semi-finals.
The much-anticipated match between India and Pakistan is scheduled for October 5 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
