He passed away on June 12 after suffering a heart attack while playing polo in the United Kingdom. Now, Sunjay's last picture taken with a friend, just moments before his death, has gone viral on social media. According to media reports, Sunjay was participating in the Cartier Trophy polo semi-finals when he accidentally swallowed a bee, which allegedly triggered a heart attack.Sunjay's polo team, Sujan India Tigers, shared an emotional tribute by posting his last photo with team captain Jaisal Singh, taken moments before they mounted their horses for the semi-finals, where Sunjay tragically lost his life.The Cartier Trophy final was played in his memory, with a minute's silence observed before the match. Also, captain Jaisal Singh sat out the final as a mark of respect.Sharing the photo, the team wrote on Instagram on June 15, "Today we play the final of the Cartier Trophy in memory of our dear friend Sunjay Kapur, who tragically passed away on the field a few days ago. The state of panic led to a heart attack, and he succumbed to it.Sunjay made headlines in the early 2000s for his high-profile marriage to Karisma. The couple tied the knot in 2003 and have two children - Samaira and Kiaan. However, their marriage ended in a highly publicised divorce in 2016, involving serious allegations from both sides. Karisma accused Sunjay of domestic abuse and emotional trauma, while Sunjay claimed she married him for financial reasons. The settlement awarded Karisma full custody of the children, a house in Mumbai, and financial support.In 2017, Sunjay married model and entrepreneur Priya Sachdev, and the couple welcomed a son in 2018.
