A bus crashed into Parliament Square in central London on Monday morning, just a few yards from Westminster Abbey. One person was taken to hospital after the double decker bus with around 25 passengers onboard collided with another vehicle and street furniture, a London Fire Brigade spokesperson said. Emergency services "cleared up a fuel spillage" following the crash, as the scene was cordoned off.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said they "treated two people and took one patient to a local hospital". Transport for London said they will work with the bus operator, Go Ahead, and the police to investigate the incident.
