He then uses the glasses to generate a clever social media caption for a photo of his dog, Beast.
This new model appears to build on the success of Meta’s previous collaboration with Ray-Ban, which is also owned by eyewear giant EssilorLuxottica. The key strategy is to embed powerful technology into a fashionable, everyday design that people actually want to wear. Unlike bulky VR headsets, these smart glasses look nearly identical to a standard pair of Oakleys but contain a camera, microphones, and speakers.
The device seems designed for hands-free convenience, allowing users to interact with AI, take photos, and get information without ever pulling out their phone. The “June 20” date displayed at the end of the video has sparked wide speculation that this will be the official launch or reveal date for the new product.
