Meteorological reasons behind weather change
The current change in weather is due to the interaction of three major systems:
Cyclonic circulation at an altitude of 0.9 km over South Punjab.
Another cyclonic system at an altitude of 3.1 km over northeast Punjab.
A low-pressure area associated with a western disturbance at an altitude of 5.8 km is driving easterly winds in the mid-troposphere.

Between June 8 and 14, Delhi experienced a severe heat wave, with temperatures in excess of 40 degrees Celsius and high humidity, making it feel like 54.4 degrees Celsius at times.
This period caused considerable discomfort to residents who had to endure extreme heat and sweating throughout the day.
