According to Dimsum DailyLeung described how she and her friends were followed by an unknown man as they returned to their hotel.

“I encountered a person on the way back to the hotel who was speaking to us without reason, following us all the way back. It was unreasonable,” she wrote. “I was afraid he would follow me upstairs, so I went to the reception. To my surprise, he pulled out a visa card! I had no idea what he was saying.”

Leung also shared a video of the encounter, which shows the man confronting her group in the hotel lobby. Her friends and hotel staff can be heard saying “We don’t know him!”

Meanwhile, the man, who appeared intoxicated, responded “No phone” upon realizing he was being filmed.

The incident sparked concern among followers and online users, with many advising Leung to switch hotels for safety. Some questioned the man’s behavior, doubting whether he was genuinely drunk.

“A truly drunk person wouldn’t have the energy to persistently follow someone,” one commenter wrote. “He just wanted to cause trouble under the pretense of being intoxicated.”

In a follow-up comment, Leung confirmed that hotel staff had handled the situation and reassured fans that she and her friends were safe.

“That man certainly had no intention of checking into the hotel,” she stated. “He was very drunk and lingered near the entrance, talking to us. Seeking help at the reception was my first instinct, and the staff asked him to leave.”

The beauty queen added a reminder to other women: “Women must always know how to protect themselves!”

Now 27, Leung graduated from Pennsylvania State University in the U.S., majoring in Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Landscape Architecture. She has transitioned into a career as an online influencer.
