A sensational incident in Thakurdwara in Uttar Pradesh has created a stir from social media to local discussions. The video of the police’s raid at the house of former BJP block chief Premlata is going viral, in which she is seen arguing with policemen. Premlata has made serious allegations against the police, including sensational claims like entering into the house without permission, indecent behavior and scrambled with them when complaining in Kotwali. This case is not only questioning the functioning of the police, but has also become a center of discussion among the common people.

Premlata told that her husband, who is a advocate by profession and a social person, is having a dispute with his family over the property sharing. On June 14, in the absence of her husband, Daroga Balram Singh Dixit and Surendra Kumar along with other policemen reached his house. Premlata alleges that the police neither gave a voice at the door nor any female policeman. Despite this, the policemen forcibly entered his house and abused him. Premlata angrily said, “My husband is not a criminal. If the police can treat such a public representative and advocate, then what will happen to the common man?”

Complaint in Kotwali, then increased controversy

Preventing this action of the police, Premlata decided to complain to Kotwali in -charge Jaspal Singh Guwal. But he claims that instead of listening to him in Kotwali, the Kotwali in -charge committed indecency with him. Not only this, women policemen were called and allegedly scrambled and their mobile phones were taken away. Describing the incident as “gross condemnable”, Premlata said that she would take the matter to the court, if there was no strict action against the policemen.

In this case, Kotwali in -charge Jaspal Singh Guwal has given clarification. He says that Sumit’s mother Ramsakhi Devi had given an application, on the basis of which the police went to Premlata’s house for investigation. He claimed that the police did not do any misconduct and the action was taken under the rules.
