Rajasthan Reports Surge in COVID-19 Cases with 29 New Infections

COVID-19 Cases on the Rise in Rajasthan

The state of Rajasthan is witnessing an increase in COVID-19 cases, with 29 new infections reported on Monday. This brings the total number of cases for the year to 456. According to the latest data, cases have emerged from various hospitals across the state, including Rajasthan Hospital, SPMCH Bikaner, AIIMS Jodhpur, RTPCR Chittorgarh, SDMH Jaipur, EHCC Jaipur, SMS Jaipur, M Genix Jaipur, and RNT Jodhpur.


Among the new cases are a 20-year-old male from Banswara, an 18-year-old female from Bikaner, a 30-year-old female and a 27-year-old male from Chittorgarh, a 63-year-old female from Dausa, and a 27-year-old male from Didwana. Jaipur reported 14 new cases, including males aged 17, 39, 53, and 40, along with females aged 19, 26, 10, 75, 30, 31, 50, 29, 22, and 21.


Jodhpur also recorded eight cases, including a 27-year-old male. Other districts reported cases as well, with a 59-year-old female in Karauli, a 27-year-old male in Kota, and six cases in Udaipur, which included males aged 48 and 45, and females aged 28, 56, 57, and 58. This year, Rajasthan has seen a total of 456 cases, comprising 251 active cases, 202 recoveries, and two fatalities. Jaipur has the highest number of cases at 283, followed by Udaipur with 54 and Jodhpur with 30.


Additional cases have been reported in other districts: Ajmer (8), Alwar (4), Banswara (2), Barmer (1), Balotra (2), Bikaner (12), Bhilwara (2), Chittorgarh (12), Churu (1), Dungarpur (4), Didwana (9), Dausa (4), Jhalawar (4), Jhunjhunu (2), Karauli (3), Kota (1), Kotputli (1), Hanumangarh (1), Nagaur (2), Phalodi (1), Pratapgarh (2), Rajsamand (1), Sawai Madhopur (4), Sikar (2), Tonk (2), and Sirohi (1). One additional case has also been reported.
