DU UG Admission 2025: Registration Begins At admission.uod.ac.in; Know New Tie-Breaker Rule, Fees, Seat Allocation Details

DU UG Admission 2025: Delhi University has started undergraduate admissions for the 2025–26 academic year through its Common Seat Allocation System (UG), (CSAS UG 2025). The admissions will be done through a single-window portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in and will be CUET UG 2025 score-based admissions.Multi-Phase Admission Process:The CSAS UG 2025 admission process will be carried out in three phases:Phase I: Candidates have to enroll in the portal, fill out the application form, and make the specified application fee payment.Phase II: Following CUET UG 2025 results (expected to be declared in the third week of July 2025), students will be allowed to choose their preferred colleges and programs.Phase III: Seat allotment and admission will be made on CUET scores, preferences submitted, and available seats.Application FeesThe application fee for CSAS UG 2025 will be Rs 250 for UR, OBC-NCL, and EWS category candidates. The fee for SC, ST, and PwBD category candidates will be Rs 100. The fee is not refundable and needs to be paid online during Phase I. New Features in 2025 Admission CycleA tie-breaker policy has been newly introduced, wherein Class 10 marks would be used when there is a tie in CUET and Class 12 marks. A feature of auto-accept has also been included to prevent candidates from losing their assigned seats because of delayed manual acceptance of the offer.Flexible Subject Combinations and Policy ChangesCandidates are now allowed to apply with either a single language and three domain subjects or two languages and two domain subjects. Admissions will be made based on the combination that renders the higher CUET score. In addition, the earlier condition of securing 30% marks in the language paper for BSc (Hons.) programs has been dropped, allowing it to be more inclusive.Instructions for Academic DetailsCandidates are required to fill marks for all subjects cleared in both Class 10th and Class 12th. In case a marksheet has both Class 11th and Class 12th marks, only the Class 12th marks are to be filled. Candidates are also required to confirm that they have cleared both theory and practical parts separately wherever applicable.Programmes, Colleges, and Seat AvailabilityDelhi University is providing 79 undergraduate programmes through 69 affiliated colleges, with 71,624 seats overall for admission.
