Fatal Accidents in Sonbhadra and Deoria

In Uttar Pradesh, two separate road accidents in the districts of Sonbhadra and Deoria resulted in the deaths of three individuals, with one person sustaining injuries, as reported by local authorities on Wednesday.

According to police reports, a high-speed car collided with a motorcycle near the village of Parasi Pandey in the Robertsganj police jurisdiction, leading to the fatalities of two individuals and leaving one severely injured.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anil Kumar stated that Chandan Tiwari, Rajesh, and Chandan Pandey, residents of Pachokhar village in Pannuganj, were returning from Shahganj to Robertsganj on their motorcycle late at night (Tuesday to Wednesday) when they were struck from behind by a car.

ASP Kumar confirmed that Chandan Tiwari and Rajesh died at the scene, while Chandan Pandey is currently receiving medical treatment for serious injuries.

The families of the deceased have alleged that the collision was intentional; however, police have indicated that it appears to be an accident at first glance. ASP Kumar mentioned that an investigation is underway, and actions will be taken based on the findings. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.

In a separate incident in Deoria, a speeding truck hit 45-year-old laborer Lallan Nishad's motorcycle late Tuesday night near Kali Mandir on the Deoria-Rudrapur road, resulting in his death.

Police indicated that Nishad, a resident of Tiwai Tola Bindwalia under the Surouli police station, was returning home after work in Deoria when his motorcycle lost control due to a trench dug for pipeline work along the roadside, leading to the tragic accident.
