The state is going to get a new and grand expressway soon, which will be named ‘Malwa-Bundelkhand Expressway’. This 677 km long expressway will be built at a cost of about Rs 36,000 crore.

Its path will start from Ujjain and go to Indore, Bhopal, Sanchi, Sagar and Tikamgarh to Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh.
