Even though Andy did not say how many jobs will be affected, but his statement has come at a time when Amazon has already trimmed in many stages. Since 2022, the company has trimmed more than 27,000 employees, mostly from the departments, services and books.
Currently Amazon is developing more than 1,000 AI-based tools and services. According to, it is only a small part of the company’s huge AI schemes. He called upon the employees to understand AI and gain efficiency in it so that they can do price to be done for the company and remain in competition.
