Seattle Orcas skipper Heinrich Klaasen was sent back for a golden duck in their thumping 93-run defeat to the Texas Super Kings at Oakland Coliseum. In pursuit of 154 runs, the Orcas were on the verge of being bowled out early and were in deep trouble at 16/3 after four overs.
Klaasen, who retired from international cricket recently, came in at a difficult moment. But left-arm pacer Zia-ul-Haq bowled a perfect yorker that hit Klaasen's off-stump on the first ball he received. Klaasen had no option and was bowled immaculately.
Zia-ul-Haq had already dismissed David Warner and followed it up with great form by dismissing Sikandar Raza for 4. He had 3 wickets for 16 runs by the end of his spell and was rightly awarded the Player of the Match. Franchise head coach Stephen Fleming was caught laughing on the sidelines following the magnificent dismissal.

Seattle batting faltered miserably once more. They were 27/7 at one stage before Jasdeep Singh's swift running enabled them to crawl to 60. Double-digit scores were posted by only Aaron Jones and Singh.
Klaasen was perplexed and saddened following the game. He explained, "Hard to explain it really! I think our bowlers bowled well. But we let ourselves down with the bat. I'm still confused. We need to talk, reset, and move forward. Shimron Hetmyer will join us, and we need a fresh start."
The Orcas have now lost both their opening games this season. They next face MI New York in the last game at Oakland before the tournament moves to Dallas.
