's breakfast programme was interrupted by a chaotic scene as alarms began to blare in the studio. Hosts and were joined by live in the studio to discuss the latest showbiz news, but things quickly went crazy during a segment about the new Jurassic World release.

Two "handlers" brought a baby dinosaur into the studio to meet the hosts, with Richard Arnold commenting that while he's interviewed everyone from Basil Brush to Peppa Pig, he's never spoken to a dinosaur before. But while the cheeky chat went smoothly, the hosts alluded to a bigger creature lurking off screen, safely "contained".

The dinosaur, predictably, got out of its enclosure with alarms beginning to blare in the studio - and came out to intimidate the stars. It's part of a event held at Battersea Power Station, where guests can interact with the animatronic dinosaurs up close.

"Those alarms aren't very settling... Slightly unnerving," Richard Arnold admitted as green and red lights began to flash overhead. "Whoa, okay! And there we have it!"

A breaking news strap played across the bottom of the screen reading: "Warning! Dinosaurs let loose!" The dinosaur gave a roar and was branded "magnificent" by Richard Arnold, as Madeley said: "We look at these things as artificially created monsters... they were real! They were exactly like that!"

Susanna shared the "moment of terror" she felt at seeing the first ever velociraptor in Jurassic Park, even jumping back slightly when the dinosaur intruder got a little too close for comfort.

The official GMB X account tweeted: "We had an unexpected guest in the studio this morning..." and fans chimed in to comment, with one writing: "The dinosaur would probably make a better presenter than anything GMB presently have!"

"Slow news day?" another wondered.
