The M1 is currently partly closed northbound in Hertfordshire, between J8 (Hemel Hempstead) and J9 (Flamstead), following a serious crash. Police, the air ambulance and the ambulance service are at the scene.
National Highways confirmed that traffic officers are also on scene to assist with traffic management.
