The southwest monsoon has become active in various parts of the country. After the scorching heat in Delhi-NCR, people have got relief from the rain. Monsoon has reached Bihar, Jharkhand and Rajasthan, while the monsoon is expected to enter Uttar Pradesh within the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is going to reach Bhopal, Patna and eastern UP soon. Meanwhile, heavy rains in Gujarat have disrupted life.

The weather will be pleasant in Delhi-NCR in the coming days

Let us tell you that the weather is expected to remain pleasant for the next few days in the entire NCR region including Delhi. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, between June 18 and June 24, the weather will remain cloudy, with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms. A yellow alert has been issued for Delhi on June 19. On this day, the maximum temperature is expected to be between 34 degrees and the minimum temperature is expected to be between 23 degrees. The department has also predicted light rain in the evening.

Rain continues in most districts of Himachal Pradesh

Let us tell you that, except for Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh, rain continues in most parts of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain with thunder and lightning for 12 districts. Heavy rain has also been warned in Sirmaur and Mandi districts. Monsoon is expected to expand to other parts of the state in the next two days.

Weather became active with thunderstorm and rain

According to the Jaipur Center of the India Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon has entered the state on June 18 via Barmer, Jodhpur and Jaipur in Rajasthan. This time the monsoon has arrived about seven days earlier than normal. In the next two to three days, the monsoon will advance to other parts of the state. Thunderstorm activities will continue in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Kota and Udaipur divisions from June 18 to 20. After June 20, rain is likely to intensify in eastern Rajasthan.

Heavy rain alert issued in Maharashtra

Monsoon activity continues in many parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in Ratnagiri, Pune, Satara, Kolhapur and Sindhudurg districts in the next 24 hours. Life is expected to be affected due to heavy rain in these districts.

Monsoon active in West Bengal

Monsoon has also knocked in West Bengal. IMD has issued a warning of heavy rain in many parts of the state. A low pressure area is forming around the Ganges river, which is moving towards west-northwest. Due to this, fishermen have been advised not to go into the sea in West Bengal, Odisha coasts and North Bay of Bengal till June 19. There is a possibility of rain in the districts of North Bengal in the coming days.
