FASTag Annual Pass: Yesterday, on June 18, the Union Road and Transport Minister of the country, Nitin Gadkari made a very big announcement. He gave information about starting the annual Fastag pass in the country. The Union Minister said that now the annual Fastag pass will be started for all private vehicle drivers.

Which will not only save people's money but will also save time. After the introduction of this new Fastag, drivers will be able to cross a toll plaza for just 15 rupees. Let us tell you. What will be the benefits of this new Fastag and how will a toll plaza be crossed for 15 rupees.

One toll plaza will be crossed for Rs 15

Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, while giving information about the Annual Fastag pass, told how drivers will be able to cross a toll plaza for just Rs 15 if they travel with the Annual Fastag pass. He said that the cost of this Fastag pass is Rs 3000 in which you can make 200 trips. One trip means one trip i.e. crossing one toll plaza.

This means that if you make 200 trips within Rs 3000, i.e. cross 200 tolls. So each toll will cost you Rs 15. On the other hand, if you normally pay Rs 50 at any toll. So according to 200 toll plazas, you will have to pay Rs 10,000. But through the Annual Fastag pass, you will be able to save Rs 7000.

These will be the benefits of the new Fastag.

The Fastag that you normally use. You have to recharge it again and again. Talking about the annual fastag pass, you have to recharge it only once a year. After its period is over, you will have to renew it again. After the issuance of the annual fastag pass, people will not even have to stand in line to pay the toll. Let us tell you that from August 15, 2025, the annual fastag pass will start across the country. But it can be used only on national highways and not on state highways.
