When Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar made his debut with the film ‘Saugandh’ in 1991, hardly anyone would have thought that one day he would be counted among the most loved and hardworking actors of Hindi cinema. But during the shooting of this film, something happened to him, which he has not forgotten till date.

Autograph was found before becoming a hero!
Usually people ask an actor when they become famous in the film world. But it had happened before becoming a hero with Akshay Kumar.

During a conversation with the film Critic Taran Adarsh, Akshay told:

“In the year 1990, when I was shooting ‘Saugandh’ in Ooty, some people came on the set. He looked at me and said, ‘This is the hero!’ And asked me an autograph. This was my first autograph – before the film was released! “

Akshay’s struggle journey
This success of Akshay Kumar did not come overnight. Before becoming a hero, he did work like Lightman, Chef, Martial Arts Trainer, and Waiter. He also stayed in Bangkok, where he learned to live with his hard work.

After returning to India, he started trying to make a career in acting and in 1987, the film ‘Aaj’ appeared as a karate instructor for just 10 seconds.
