In the poster, he is seen sitting happily on a branch of a tree with a child, wearing a checkered shirt and white pants. The duo seem to be enjoying each other’s company.

The caption hints a bit towards the plot of the film. KaalidharLaapata is a heartwarming emotional drama that follows an elderly man who decides to elope after he discovers that his family plans to abandon him.

It is set in a remote rural area in India, creating the perfect backdrop to complement Abhishek’s brooding character struggling with heartbreak and betrayal.

His life takes a turn when he meets Ballu, an orphaned child whose infectious enthusiasm and zest for life rekindles Kaalidhar’s desire for living life to the fullest.
