Arsenal are keeping tabs on Noni Madueke amid his uncertain future at Chelsea. The England winger has endured a mixed spell at Stamford Bridge since his arrival from Dutch side PSV in January 2023.
The 22-year-old has been in and out of the side, albeit is fresh off the back of the most productive season of his career so far. Madueke scored 11 goals for Chelsea last season as they claimed the Conference League.
But it appears that his future in West London is far from certain. According to The Telegraph, Madueke is not considered untouchable by club chiefs this summer and that has triggered a number of clubs to express an interest.
It is suggested that Arsenal are among the sides keeping tabs on developments, albeit they have stopped short of submitting an official enquiry to their London rivals. The Gunners are keen on adding a new winger to their squad this summer, having previously had Nico Williams at the top of their shortlist.
However, the Athletic Bilbao star appears to be on his way to Barcelona, forcing Arsenal to look elsewhere. Madueke has therefore emerged as an alternative.

But it could be difficult to prise him away from Stamford Bridge. Madueke has five years remaining on his contract with the Blues, while Enzo Maresca has completely dismissed the prospect of an exit this summer.
Speaking at the Club World Cup, he said: “Noni is our player. In this moment, you can read speculation about many players. But Noni is our player. We consider Noni our player for next season.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea are looking to add another winger following Mykhailo Mudryk’s potential four-year doping ban and Jadon Sancho’s return to Manchester United. Maresca added: “We had already one entire season already without Mischa. We are going to decide to go for a winger.

“In both cases, we have Noni Madueke and Pedro Neto as proper wingers, then we try to adapt with Tyrique George. It's a position we need to improve.”
Madueke is not the first Chelsea star that Arsenal have been linked with this season. Reports earlier in the window suggested that the Gunners were set to sign Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga after activating his £5m release clause but a deal has yet to be announced.
