The Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres Arsenal transfer saga continues to rumble on. The Gunners are yet to complete a deal for a new striker and fans are desperate for a positive update when it comes to the addition of a proven goalscorer.

After all, it could prove critical to their aspirations of lifting the Premier League trophy come May. It is undoubtedly the priority for Andrea Berta this summer and the dream scenario would be for one of Sesko or Gyokeres to be in through the door for the start of pre-season training.

As important as a new striker is, Arsenal have plenty of other moves that they need to make when it comes to upgrading their squad for their upcoming battle with Liverpool and Manchester City. Goalkeeper

Arsenal need cover in the goalkeeping department this summer after Neto's loan spell from Bournemouth came to an end. The shot-stopper does look set to be replaced by Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was Bournemouth's No.1 last term after joining on loan from Chelsea.

It could be a shrewd £5million deal for a goalkeeper who has plenty of Premier League and European experience to his name.

Full-back

We could see some transfer movement at left-back this summer as Oleksandr Zinchenko has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal just have to decide whether they target the right side, left side or get a player who is capable of playing both positions.

Right now, Arsenal have Ben White and Jurrien Timber as right-back options and there is also Takehiro Tomiyasu to consider once he returns to full fitness. On the opposite flank, Myles Lewis-Skelly looks to have made the position his own but could be pushed into midfield at some point down the line.

Riccardo Calafiori is another left-back option, Timber can fill in there if required and Zinchenko remains a choice there for the time being.

Centre-back

Reports have suggested that Arsenal could look to sign a new centre-back this summer, with Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi mentioned. The Gunners boast an excellent defensive partnership in William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes but further defensive cover is required as they look to compete on four fronts.

As there are going to be occasions where one of the duo is missing throughout the season, Arteta won't want the level to drop too much and bringing in another top-class centre-back could be a very smart move given the club's lofty aspirations.

Central midfield

Arsenal have already parted with Jorginho ahead of the new season and the same may now happen with Thomas Partey due to his contract status. The midfielder is out of contract at the end of June and it has been reported that he will indeed leave the Emirates Stadium for good.

Martin Zubimendi is one midfielder set to be a summer incoming but Arsenal may now require another option in the middle of the park considering the latest Partey news.

Left-wing

Arsenal could line up with a new-look front three next season once either Sesko or Gyokeres signs on the dotted line. Boasting an outstanding right-wing option in Bukayo Saka, Arsenal could do with an upgrade on the opposite side of the pitch.

Gabriel Martinelli has struggled for consistency on the left and it is certainly an area Berta could do with looking at. A new front three could possibly make all the difference when it comes to Arsenal challenging for the Premier League title.
