NEET UG Counselling 2025: There is important news for the candidates who have passed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025. Two major quotas of NEET UG Counselling: All India and State Quota

NEET UG counselling is conducted in two main categories. You can see about it below.

All India Quota (AIQ): Under this quota, counselling is done for 15% of MBBS/BDS seats across the country, which is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). State Quota: For the remaining 85% of seats, counselling is conducted by the respective state government or authorities.

MCC NEET UG Counselling: Which seats are included?

MCC counselling is conducted for the following medical and dental colleges seats. It includes the following.

15% MBBS and BDS seats under All India Quota

State seats with share of UT of Jammu & Kashmir

100% seats of Banaras Hindu University (BHU)

100% MBBS seats of all AIIMS at All India level

100% seats of JIPMER at Puducherry/Karaikal

100% seats of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)

85% State Quota seats under Delhi University (DU)/IP University (VMMC/ABVIMS/ESIC Dental)

100% seats of Dental Faculty of Jamia Millia Islamia and 5% internal quota for students

15% IP quota seats of ESIC

Counselling Process and Follow-up

The counselling conducted by MCC is completely online. After seat allotment, the selected candidates are required to report to their allotted medical college for confirmation of admission. Like last year, this year also the counselling process will be conducted in two rounds, followed by stray vacancy rounds and special stray vacancy rounds for the remaining vacancies.
