New Delhi: A massive chaos erupted in a Delhi Metro after a snake was rumoured to be found inside a ladies' coach on Friday. Women inside the coach started screaming and jumping on seats following a rumour about snake inside the compartment. One of the commuters recorded a video of the commotion inside the coach and soon it went viral on social media.
In the video, it could be seen that the commotion was triggered after the snake rumour spread inside the coach. Notably, the snake was not seen in the viral video. Panic gripped the women commuters as they believed that the reptile was present inside the compartment.
The exact location of the incident is not known.
Meanwhile, netizens joked about the incident.

"Whenever you get in a tough situation start making video because the cameraman never dies," one of the Instagram users wrote.
However, some netizens believed it to be a case of mistaken identity. A woman, who claimed to be inside the coach said that first one of the women said that it was a lizard, but someone spread a rumour that it was a snake.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has not commented on the incident.
