Arsene Wenger has already given Arsenal the green light to sign Warren Zaire-Emery. The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has emerged as a potential target for the Gunners as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his options in the middle of the park.
Zaire-Emery, whose contract at the Parc des Princes expires in June 2029, featured 29 times in Ligue 1 this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists. Playing a key role in Luis Enrique's side, the France international helped his boyhood club to their four successive title.
He also won the Champions League with PSG, regularly coming off the bench throughout the knockout stages. With Jorginho at Flamengo and Thomas Partey's future still up in the air, Zaire-Emery has emerged as a potential target for Arsenal.

According to TBR Football, the Gunners are keeping close tabs on the 19-year-old's situation in the French capital. The report claims that the north Londoners have contacted PSG to enquire about Zaire-Emery's availability this summer.
It's said that Barcelona and Bayern Munich have made enquiries about the teenager, but the Parisians have no interest in selling. TBR Football adds that Zaire-Emery wants to 'fight for his future', with Joāo Neves and Vitinha ahead in the pecking order.
If, for whatever reason, Arteta was to question whether Zaire-Emery could replace Jorginho and Partey, Arsene Wenger has already heaped praise on the youngster. Speaking to Le Parisien back in 2023, the former Arsenal boss likened the £47m-rated midfielder's talent to that of Kylian Mbappe.
"We’re speaking of a boy gifted with super talent," said Wenger. "He has blossomed exceptionally early. That’s why he’s been called up by Didier [Deschamps].
"When, at 17, your manager at club level chooses you as one of the first names on the team sheet, that implies that you exude something that is unstoppable.
"To some extent, he makes me think of Kylian Mbappé in the sense that people are already unanimous on him, at an age where, in general, everyone says, ‘He’s talented, yes, but let’s see.’"
Thierry Henry has been just as complimentary of Zaire-Emery. Speaking on CBS Sports, the Arsenal legend described him as 'magnificent' after he led PSG to a 3-0 win over AC Milan in the Champions League.
"The way Warren Zaire-Emery is playing, it is normal to run the show at just 17 years old," said Henry in October 2023. "He was the only one that held his ground at St James’ Park.
"He’s been magnificent… the sky is the limit. I have never seen a player that young being so mature. Usually, you have youngsters that play as forwards that make the difference. But when you play in midfield for a team like PSG, you need to readjust.
"It is rare to see such a young player in that position," added Henry. "I gave him the armband (as France U21s boss) because I wanted to see the next thing.
"I know that physically, he is strong; he can run, he can see a pass, he can stop a counter. I want to know if he can also stop a player by talking.
"I gave him the armband to know if he could direct the team and talk. That was my way of seeing if he could do that, and trust me, he can. This guy has no limits."
