Air India has issued a statement about this. According to this, the airline will cut 38 international flights every week between June 21 and July 15. Apart from this, services on three foreign routes will be suspended. The Tata Group -owned aviation company is struggling with disruptions after the deadly aircraft accident in Ahmedabad on June 12. The company said that the purpose of cutting flights on 18 international routes is to restore schedule stability and reduce the inconvenience of passengers at the last minute.
The flight of these three cities will remain stalled
Significantly, the airline said a day earlier that it would make a temporary reduction of 15 percent in flights operated by large passenger aircraft, after which this detailed announcement was made. Air India said in a statement that the cut will be effective from June 21, 2025 and will run at least till 15 July 2025. Services will be suspended till July 15 at Delhi-Narobi, Amritsar-London (Gatvik) and Goa (Mopa)-London (Gatvik). According to the airline, there are four flights per week on the Delhi-Narobi route, while Amritsar-London (Gatvik) and Goa (Mopa)-London (Gatvik) routes are three flights per week.
Impact on these international routes
In addition, the number of flights on 18 international routes connecting North America, Europe, Australia and the Far East cities will be reduced. The routes of North America on which the number of flights will be low include Delhi-Toronto, Delhi-Vankuver, Delhi-San Francisco, Delhi-Shikago and Delhi-Washington.
