Rajasthan Monsoon Update: Monsoon is active in Rajasthan and rain activities are expected to continue in the coming days. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Jaipur Center, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in many parts of the state on June 21 as well.
The circulation system formed over eastern Rajasthan is still active, due to which there is a possibility of rain in this area. Apart from this, a ‘well marked low pressure’ system formed over Jharkhand is slowly moving in the northwest direction, which will further boost monsoon activities in Rajasthan.
June 21: Rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms is likely to continue in some parts of the state.
A drop in maximum temperature will be recorded in the coming week. During the first week, the maximum temperature in south-eastern Rajasthan is likely to remain 3 to 4 degrees Celsius below normal, while in the remaining parts it will remain around normal. In the second week also, the maximum temperature in south-eastern Rajasthan is expected to remain 2 to 3 degrees Celsius below normal, and in other areas it will remain close to normal.
