The 10 cities with the best zen and wellness offerings have been revealed, with the UK claiming a spot in the list. Fresha, a beauty and wellness marketplace and booking software firm, compiled the list by analysing proprietary booking data across its international platform.
The company said it put the ranking together based on booking volume in the wellness category over the past 12 months. Dubai in the United Arab Emiratestook top spot, "blending innovation and opulence with natural therapies and sustainability", Fresha said. Next up on the list was the Australian city of Melbourne, which the company says has a "strong focus on sustainability, holistic living, and clean beauty".
London, where Fresha is headquartered, came third in the rankings, with the firm celebrating the constrasts of "tech-forward skincare in Chelsea, ethical indie salons in Shoreditch, and cold plunges and rooftop yoga across the capital".
Bali, a province in Indonesia was up next, hailed the "global spiritual retreat capital".
The UAE featured twice in the top five, with the capital Abu Dhabi praised for its blend of "tradition with modern wellness".
