UP Weather Update: The change in the weather of Uttar Pradesh for the last few days has affected the life of the people. Last Friday, heavy rains occurred in the capital Lucknow and most of the districts of eastern UP, which brought some relief from the scorching heat. Although the weather became warm again due to sunshine on Saturday, but the movement of clouds continued. The maximum temperature in Lucknow on Saturday was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department has issued a special alert for Sunday and Monday. Extremely heavy rains are expected in more than 12 districts of western UP. Meanwhile, the rain is likely to continue in about 35 districts of the entire state. The senior meteorologist said that on Sunday, there is an alert of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in most of the districts of Purvanchal including Lucknow. In such a situation, the public has been advised to remain alert.
There is a possibility of heavy rain in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Saint Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Sitapur, Kanpur Rural, Kanpur Nagar, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahar, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Auraiya, Amroha, Sambhal and Bandayu.
According to Atul Kumar Singh, monsoon activities have become active in the western regions, due to which a period of heavy rainfall has begun. On Sunday and Monday, moderate to very heavy rains are expected in many districts, along with strong thunderstorms and lightning at many places. Due to the rain, farmers and common people will get relief, but at some places, heavy rains can also cause waterlogging and road blockage. Therefore, an appeal has been made to take necessary precautions.
The Meteorological Department has asked people to stay in safe places during heavy rains and not to go out without any important reason. People have been asked to stay away from open places to avoid accidents caused by lightning. Also, do not go to the banks of rivers and streams so that any kind of disaster can be avoided.
