Last year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! cast have gone eerily quiet following the fallout from Danny Jones and Maura Higgins' afterparty smooch.

Fans were taken aback when images surfaced showing the pair sharing a kiss during a swanky BRIT Awards afterparty. Married McFly member Danny Jones issued a heartfelt apology on social media while Maura Higgins has kept quiet about the kiss.

Now, their fellow jungle dweller GK Barry, better known as Grace Keeling, spilled the beans that the 2024 campmates' WhatsApp group has simmered down in the wake of the scandal.

While some celebs still speak regularly, the chat among the wider ensemble - which included GK, Danny, Maura, Jane Moore, Coleen Rooney, Melvin Odoom, Reverend Richard Coles, Tulisa Contostavlos, and Dean McCulloch - has notably cooled.

Grace got candid about her stint Down Under and the bonds formed there while chatting on The Katie Price Podcast.

With Katie Price herself being a two-time jungle veteran, she queried: "Have you kept in contact, because this is another thing, when I've done Big Brother and all of that, you're like, Yeah, 'I'll stay in contact...'" reports the Mirror.

"But you know the ones you'll stay in contact with, and some you just know... In the beginning, you text and then..."

To which Grace divulged: "We had a group chat. It has died down slightly as you can imagine, it's died down."

She elaborated further: "But I still keep in contact with the Rev [Richard Coles] and Dean [McCullough], I still keep in contact with a little bit, but mainly the Rev and Melvin [Odoom].

"I keep in contact with Melvin quite a lot."

While Maura and Danny were snapped locking lips in the early hours of March 2, the group chat was still active as of April.

At the time, Radio 1 DJ Dean said: "No, no one's left. Everyone's in it. Everyone's chatting away.

"I just love it because you'll just wake up one morning, and there'll just be a picture of Coleen on the school run with the kids, or Richard, the other day, sent us a picture of him at 10 o'clock in the morning in full fancy dress."

He added: "He was dressed as a nun. Everyone's in it, of course, and excited to meet up again."

While GK may have initially gained attention on TikTok, her profile soared after her time in the jungle, resulting in her becoming a regular on ITV's Loose Women and securing a spot on BBC Radio 1.

Starting July 4, she will be taking over the airwaves every Saturday and Sunday from 1pm to 4pm. She expressed her excitement: "This is completely different from podcasting. I'm really excited to be presenting my own show with BBC Radio 1 this summer..

"I'm always listening to the radio when I travel, so I can't wait to interact with the listeners and get them involved in all the fun."
