Chelsea have already confirmed three transfers this summer but plenty more are set to follow. Liam Delap, Dario Essugo and Mamadou Sarr have all had their respective moves announced with the Club World Cup likely to play a role in Enzo Maresca's plans.
First of all, with that being the main focus of those at Stamford Bridge, it seems unlikely that any moves will be sanctioned as they would also be unable to feature.
Negotiations for Borussia's Dortmund Jamie Gittens were quite advanced before the tournament began and though nothing was agreed, he remains at the top of their winger wishlist with it very likely he joins the Blues once his £42.8million (€50m) asking price is met.

Mike Maignan was another pursued but AC Milan stood firm on their asking price and as things stand, it does not look as though that will be a deal revisited which suggests priorities are elsewhere.
One of those will be sanctioning exits and thus raising funds for more signings later into the window. With limited international loan spots available, and more exciting wonderkids set to join, some senior players will have to leave.
Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix, who cost nearly £100million combined, are two big departures Chelsea will be hoping to seal. Recouping anywhere close to the above amount is unlikely but at 27 and 25, respectively, there is still some resale value.
Despite spending the whole season in west London, Nkunku played just over 2,000 minutes with the majority of those coming in the Conference League. Felix meanwhile, joined AC Milan on loan in January but struggled to make a lasting impact with a permanent return to Portugal now a possibility.
Axel Disasi, Ben Chilwell, Renato Veiga and Carney Chukwuemeka were four others that left Chelsea on a temporary basis earlier this year.Following their respective returns, none of the quartet have been taken to the Club World Cup which suggests their futures lie elsewhere.
Raheem Sterling, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Armando Broja are also likely to leave having played Premier League football during the 2024/25 season, but not for Chelsea. Djorde Petrovic was another returning loannee having impressed during his time at Strasbourg and though the Blues wanted to keep him, he is set on a move elsewhere.
If the Blues can sanction those 10 departures with plenty of time still remaining in the window, those funds can go immediately onto the arrival of an experienced striker.
Hugo Ekitike of Eintracht Frankfurt is the main name being linked but Chelsea should instead be going all out for Viktor Gyokeres. The Sporting CP star wants to join Arsenal but it is currently quite clear that Benjamin Sesko is their preferred choice.
In order to depart the Portugal, he will have to soon realise that and with Champions League football on offer at Stamford Bridge, it makes sense for him to seal a late window switch.
His asking price has increased to £67million (€80m) in the last few weeks but, taking into account what is raised from exits, that is affordable for Chelsea.
