In today’s era, it has become a big challenge to connect children with books and keep away from mobile. If your children also steal their lives from studies and are more engaged in mobile, then these tips can prove to be helpful for you. By adopting these measures, you can extend the interest of your child towards studies and can see the book instead of mobile in their hands.

  • Create a reading environment: Create a quiet and attractive corner for children where they can read comfortably. This place can be adorned with a comfortable chair, good light and their favorite books. The books should be easily available everywhere in the house, so that the child can lift them whenever they want. Place some books in the living room, in the bedroom and even on the dining table.
  • Become an example themselves: Children learn what they see. If you read books yourself, children will also be inspired to see you. Instead of running a mobile in your spare time, read the book. Read and read with your child. Even if he is reading his book and you will encourage him to read.
  • Make reading fun: Let the child choose books of your choice, whether they are comics, picture stories, or any fiction story. It is not necessary that they read only educational books. Play some games to reading, such as completing the story, guessing words or talking about the characters of the story.
  • Patience and encouragement: Do not put too much pressure on children to study. With this, they can run away from studies. If the child does not like to read, start for a very short time (eg 5–10 minutes) and slowly extend the time. Whenever the child shows interest in reading or trying to read, appreciate him. Positive encouragement inspires them to move forward.
