Bollywood Actor: You must have seen a lot of rape scenes in Bollywood films. But in the 80s and 90s, there was a rape scene in every second film. It was often shown in films that the villain rapes someone known to the hero and then takes revenge. A similar incident happened with Zeenat Aman. At first, the actor was scared of doing a rape scene with Zeenat. But then something happened that he got into such a scuffle with the actress and did the rape scene that the actress also got injured. Let’s know who this actor is.
We are talking about Bollywood’s veteran actor Raj Babbar, who will celebrate his 73rd birthday on June 23. The actor took training in method acting from the National School of Drama and worked in more than 150 films. In the year 1977, he made his debut with ‘Kissa Kursi Ka’, but he had a small role in the film. Then in 1980, Raj Babbar’s 7 back to back films were released, but the film that gave him the most popularity was ‘Insaaf Ka Tarazu’, surprisingly, the actor had a negative role in this film and he was also afraid before doing it that his image might get spoiled.
Actually, in BR Chopra’s film (Insaf Ka Tarazu), along with Raj Babbar, Zeenat Aman, Padmini Kohlapure and Deepak Parashar were also in the lead roles. Raj had to play the role of a rapist in the film. The actor was very scared for this. He was afraid that he would not be able to become a big hero. In the film, he had to rape Zeenat Aman and then Padmini Kolhapure. But he was not comfortable doing the rape scene with Zeenat, he was afraid that if Zeenat felt something strange during this, his career would be ruined before it could be made.
Then when Zeenat Aman was told about Raj Babbar’s fear, Zeenat tried to convince him and talked to him. The actress rehearsed this scene with Raj many times so that Raj Babbar would not get nervous during the shoot. Then in the end, Raj forced himself on Zeenat a lot and even got into a scuffle. The actor was so lost in the shoot that Zeenat even got hurt, but Haseena did not even utter a word and after the shoot was over, she even praised Raj Babbar’s acting. Raj had played this role so well that he is praised even today.
