IMD Alert: Heavy rain-thunderstorm-storm warning in 17 districts, red alert in 4 districts, know the latest situation of your city

There is a possibility of rain, storm, lightning and heavy rainfall in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Bhopal and Ujjain divisions on Monday-Tuesday.

Due to cyclone, trough and low pressure area, the weather will remain changed in Madhya Pradesh for the next four days. Especially in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Narmadapuram and Rewa divisions, the period of rain will continue. Today, Monday, a red alert has been issued for very heavy rain in Ujjain, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa and Rajgarh. More than 8 inches of water can fall here in 24 hours.

In the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Bhopal and Ujjain divisions, there may be heavy rainfall along with rain. Tikamgarh received 2 inches of rain. The period of storm and rain continued in many districts, including Mandla, Narmadapuram, Gwalior, Bhopal, Raisen, Balaghat, Ratlam, Pachmarhi, Betul, Dhar, Indore, Shivpuri, Ujjain, Chhindwara, Damoh, Khajuraho, Niwari, Sagar, Seoni, and  Umaria.

Many weather systems are currently active.

At present, a low-pressure area is forming in the middle of South UP. A cyclone is also associated with it in the upper part of the air, which is tilted towards the south and is likely to move in the northwest direction. An east-west trough is formed from Bangladesh, which passes through northwestern MP. A cyclone is formed in the upper part of the air over Bangladesh and adjoining West Bengal.

A trough line is formed from Punjab to Bihar. Due to the effect of these weather systems, there may be rain, lightning and thunder in some places in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Bhopal and Ujjain divisions on Monday-Tuesday, light rain will continue in the remaining districts. Here, a new cyclone is going to form in the upper part of the air in the Bay of Bengal on June 25.

Monday 23 June: Very heavy rain, red alert in Ujjain, Shajapur, Agar-Mal, and Rajgarh. Orange alert in Neemuch, Mandsaur, Indore and Dewas. Heavy rain is likely in Gwalior, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Ratlam, Sehore, Narmadapuram, Vidisha and Sagar. Thunderstorm and rain in other districts, including Bhopal.

Tuesday 24 June: Very heavy rain orange alert in Vidisha, Raisen, Mandla and Balaghat. Heavy rain in Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Guna, Ashoknagar, Rajgarh, Sehore, Sagar, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli, Anuppur. Yellow alert in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur and other districts.

Wednesday 25 June: Very heavy rain in Dindori, Raisen-Sagar. Heavy rain in Mauganj, Singrauli, Anuppur, Mandla, Balaghat, Seoni, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Ujjain, Sehore, Vidisha. Yellow alert for rain in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and other districts.

Thursday 26, June: Very heavy rain in Chhindwara-Seoni. Heavy rain in Gwalior, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Ratlam, Ujjain, Shajapur, Sehore, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Betul, Balaghat, Mandla, Anuppur, Maihar, Rewa, Sidhi and Singrauli. Thunderstorm and rain in other districts as well.
