The driving license will be cancelled.
According to the information, online challans are being cut continuously on many drivers, but they are neither improving the rules nor paying the fine. Most of the cases are related to driving without a helmet and overspeeding. Challan has been issued against some drivers 15 to 20 times. The department is identifying the concerned drivers based on challan records and vehicle registration numbers. After this, notice will be sent through their name, address and mobile number. Also, warning messages will be sent to the mobile. If the fine is not paid within the stipulated time, the driving license will be cancelled. The Transport Department is also looking at whether any pattern of breaking the rules by any driver is coming to the fore. Such as repeated violation of the same rule or continuous ignorance of different rules. This will help in understanding the level of negligence.
