Delay Your SUV Purchase for Exciting New Models

If you're considering buying a new SUV, it might be wise to hold off for a bit. Several manufacturers are gearing up to unveil new facelifts and models, which could provide buyers with better options. Specifically, if you're eyeing the 3-door model or the XUV 700, waiting could be beneficial.

Mahindra Thar Facelift

The 3-door Mahindra Thar is set to receive an update soon. Recent sightings of a test vehicle suggest it will feature a new front design inspired by the Thar Roxx. This updated version is anticipated to include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a digital driver display, ventilated seats, wireless charging, and automatic climate control. Safety enhancements will feature a 360-degree camera along with Level 2 ADAS capabilities. The engine options will remain unchanged, offering both petrol and diesel variants in rear and four-wheel drive configurations.

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift

In addition to the Thar, Mahindra is also planning a facelift for the XUV 700. The recently spotted test mule indicates minor design changes, particularly a revised front fascia while maintaining its classic silhouette. The new model is expected to be tested with updated headlights and a redesigned front end.

Skoda Slavia Facelift

Skoda is also preparing for an update, which will include a digital driver display, a 360-degree camera system, and a premium audio setup. While a specific launch date hasn't been announced, the facelift is likely to feature a new front design and additional features. The Slavia shares its platform with the Volkswagen Virtus, which is also expected to receive a facelift around the same time.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift

The Kushaq is also due for a mid-cycle update. This facelift will maintain the existing powertrain options while introducing new features such as electronic parking brakes, a larger digital instrument panel, and Level 2 ADAS. Cosmetic changes will focus on a redesigned front fascia and interior enhancements.

Renault Kiger and Triber Updates

Renault is set to refresh both the Triber and Kiger models. While the overall design will remain consistent, expect a revised front fascia and updated alloy wheels, along with improved interior features to enhance accessibility and competitiveness against newer models.

Renault Duster Facelift

In addition to the Kiger and Triber, Renault is also planning a facelift for the Duster. The vehicle has been spotted undergoing tests in Europe and is expected to launch in India soon. Nissan is also preparing to introduce a rebranded version of the Duster.
