Ruth Langsford interrupted Loose Women on Monday for a special baby announcement. The host of the ITV daytime show revealed that her fellow presenter Coleen Nolan had some "very happy news".

Coleen then shared that her daughter Ciara Fensome is expecting her first child with partner Max, sparking a flurry of congratulations from the panel.

An elated Coleen divulged to the audience: "It will be my third grandchild. We've known for ages but they like to keep it all secret. She's 20 weeks now, she'll be 21 weeks this week."

While remaining tight-lipped about the baby's gender, Coleen described how Ciara's pregnancy was barely noticeable until recently: "She has got a bump but it's taken 20 weeks. She kept coming over still in size 8 jeans and I was like 'you're not pregnant are you?' and then all of a sudden she could feel it kicking and stuff."

Coleen acknowledged her daughter's mix of anticipation and nerves, expressing her own excitement about the forthcoming family addition, reports Belfast Live.

At 24, Ciara is Coleen's youngest, her only child with second husband Ray Fensome, while she has two older sons, Shane and Jake, from her marriage to EastEnders actor Shane Richie. Coleen is already a grandmother, with each son having one child.

This joyful announcement follows shortly after Loose Women threw a surprise celebration for Coleen's milestone 60th birthday.

During a surprise-filled episode, Coleen Nolan was unexpectedly joined on set by her family, including her three children, brought in stealthily by co-stars Kaye Adams, Jane Moore, and Judi Love, which completely threw Coleen for a loop.

The emotional shock of the reunion was intense for Coleen, who couldn't help but admit that it was "too emotional" as she battled to keep her composure. She revealed that she had been restricted to her dressing room the entire morning, lamenting it as the "worst day of (her) life".

Blindfolded before meeting her family in the studio, Coleen was overwhelmed with emotion to see Jake, Shane, and Ciara all present, tearfully uttering, "Oh my God! Is this why I've been kept prisoner all day?".

The sentiment continued as she said, "So far, I've had the worst day of my life. They literally locked me in the dressing room. This was a genuine surprise. Gosh it's too emotional."

Loose Women is on ITV1 weekdays at 12.30pm and on ITVX
