Sidharth P. Malhotra has acquired the rights for the Meena Kumari biopic and is currently looking for actresses who will be suitable to portray the legendary actress’s role.

According to the latest reports, makers have approached Kiara Advani for the Meena Kumari biopic because they think that she is perfect to play the role of the legend.

A source close to the development told Pinkvilla that the script has already been narrated to her, and while she was reportedly quite impressed with the story and her character, she has not yet officially signed on to the project.

While this could be a career-defining movie for Kiara, a majority of users suggested that she should not do the role.
