Delhi: Former India captain and legendary batsman Sourav Ganguly shared some memories of his cricket career and told that he regrets getting dismissed by reaching the century several times in international cricket. Ganguly scored 18575 runs in his career, including Tests and ODIs and scored 38 centuries. But he believes that this figure could have been even better.

In an interview to PTI, Ganguly said that he was dismissed for 80 or 90 several times. If he could convert those innings into a century, he would have more than 50 international centuries. According to the data, Ganguly was dismissed for 80 or 90 runs about 30 times.

Regarding the most interesting competition of his career, Ganguly said that he loved playing against Australia. He also described Australian fast bowler Glenn McGraw as the most difficult bowler of his career.

Ganguly played 311 ODIs and 113 Test matches. He has 72 half -centuries in ODIs and 35 half -centuries in Tests. He also said that he is also sorry about Anil Kumble. According to him, the best bowler like Kumble did not get a chance in the team many times.

Ganguly also gave information about his biopic. He informed that the shooting of the film will begin in early 2026. Famous actor Rajkumar Rao will play him in the film. The script and the story are almost ready and hopefully the film will be released by the end of 2026.
