Thailand’s Bangkok Airways was voted the world’s best regional airline following a global survey conducted by British air transport rating organization Skytrax.
Virgin Australia came in second, followed by Porter Airlines and Aegean Airlines, according to the survey of around 22.3 million customers, with more than 325 airlines featured this year, CNN reported.
Azerbaijan Airlines rounded out the top five.
The rest of top 10 were jetBlue Airways, Alaska Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines, RwandAir and Royal Air Maroc.
Bangkok Airways is a regional airline based in Thailand that offers domestic and international flights to destinations in Southeast Asia.
The airline is known for its high quality of services like complimentary meals and beverages, as well as lounge access for both economy and business class passengers in many airports.
