Google AI Mode: Google had earlier introduced AI mode as an experiment in the US and now it has been started in India as well. This facility is currently being made available in the English language under the 'Labs' feature. The specialty of this new mode is that you can ask complex and multi-layered questions to Google and AI will understand your query and answer it very accurately and in-depth. What is special in Google AI Mode?

Google says that this AI mode launched in India is based on its Gemini 2.5 model, which is a state-of-the-art language model. Its biggest feature is that it is capable of understanding and answering more complex and detailed questions than traditional search. Usually when a user searches for information on a topic, he has to ask questions in different ways many times. But the AI mode understands the essence of your question in one go and gives complete information.

For example, Google said that you can ask such a question in AI mode - "My children are 4 and 7 years old, very active. What are the low-cost and creative ways to keep them busy and physically active indoors during summer?" Many aspects like age, energy level, weather, budget and lack of space are linked together in this question. Google's AI will understand all these and prepare the best suggestions for you.

Now you can also search with voice and photo

Google has admitted that Google Lens and voice search are used the most in India. That is why now in AI mode, you can also ask questions with your voice or photo. Just open the Google app, tap on the mic icon and ask questions by speaking. Or take a photo of something and ask – “What is this plant? How to repot it? How to take care of it?” The AI mode will not only respond immediately, but you can also ask it follow-up questions, and it will remember the context given earlier.

Is the AI mode always right?

Google has also admitted that the AI mode is not 100% accurate every time. In some cases, if the system itself is not sure about the answer, it also shows results of general web searches along with the AI so that the user gets comprehensive information.
