Ludhiana: A surprising case has come to light from Ludhiana district of Punjab. Here the thugs adopted a new method from the head teacher of a government school and cheated 50 thousand rupees. The vicious thug, who called himself from the Chief Minister’s Office, scared the head teacher by pretending to Grant Embezzlement and got the money from him twice. After the matter came to light, the victim complained to the cyber police station, on which the police registered a case and started investigation.

According to the information, the matter happened with Ramanpreet Kaur, the head teacher of the Government Primary School, Government Primary School in Ludhiana village Cellbarah. He said that on June 23, he received a call, in which the caller told himself from the Chief Minister’s Office and said that only 50 percent of the composite grant of 50 thousand rupees received by the school has been spent, the remaining amount has been embezzled. The caller said that the matter is under investigation and if she wants to investigate while in service, then the remaining 25 thousand rupees should be deposited in one account immediately, otherwise it will be suspended.

25 thousand rupees transferred due to fear

In fear, Ramanpreet Kaur transferred 25 thousand rupees to the account given from her son’s account. After some time a call came again and it was said that since he is on daputation, he will have to deposit 25 thousand rupees again. He sent the money again. For the third time, the call came again, then Ramanpreet got suspicious and contacted the police.

Police made this appeal

Cyber ​​Police Station Incharge Inspector Sukhbir Kaur told the media that the unknown person had called from Madhya Pradesh and got the money transferred to an account in Ludhiana. The investigation has so far revealed that the accused is not associated with the education department, but it may have been taken advantage of any data to the department. The police have registered a case of fraud against the unknown accused and started investigation. Also, appealed to the common people not to panic when such phone calls come and immediately inform the nearest police station or cyber cell.
