Rajasthan Monsoon Update: Heavy rain continues in Rajasthan, Meteorological Department issued new warning

Rajasthan Monsoon Update: Monsoon has become fully active in Rajasthan. In the last 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rains have been recorded in many parts of the state, which has affected life. According to the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, this series of rains is likely to continue in the coming days as well.

Current situation of last 24 hours

In eastern Rajasthan, rain occurred at many places with thunder and lightning, in which heavy to very heavy rain was recorded at some places. In western Rajasthan also, light to moderate rain occurred at some places, while heavy rain was also seen in some areas. The highest rainfall of 190 mm was recorded in Sallopat, Banswara, which is breaking records.

Forecast for the coming days

According to the weather department forecast, light to moderate rain is expected to continue in most parts of eastern Rajasthan today. At the same time, there is a strong possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at some places in Kota, Jaipur and Ajmer divisions. Rain activities may continue in the eastern parts of the state for the next one week, in which heavy rain is expected at some places.

Rain will also increase in western Rajasthan

The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning for western Rajasthan. There is a possibility of rain with thunder in some parts of Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions in the coming days. Especially during June 26 to 29, there is a possibility of increase in rain activity in Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions and heavy rain is expected at some places.

Warnings and safety measures for the general public

Heavy rainfall can cause waterlogging in low-lying areas and underpasses, which can affect traffic on roads and reduce visibility. This increases the risk of road accidents.
