There is big news for the youth looking for a government job. Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has issued recruitment for the vacant posts of Food Safety Officer (MPPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment 2025). According to the notification, the online application process for this recruitment will start on July 11 and will continue till the last date of 10 August 2025.
Candidates who fulfill the eligibility for this recruitment will be able to fill out the form by visiting the official website of MPPSC mppsc.mp.gov.in only through online mode within the prescribed dates.
Educational Qualification
To apply for this recruitment, the candidate should have a graduation or post-graduation or doctorate in any of Food Technology / Dairy / Biotechnology / Oil Technology / Agricultural Science / Veterinary Science / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Chemistry / Medicine from a recognized university/institute or any other equivalent / recognized qualification notified by the Food Authority with the prior approval of the Central Government.
Age
To participate in this recruitment, the candidate must have completed 21 years of age but not completed 40 years of age. Candidates coming from reserved categories will be given relaxation in upper age as per rules. Keep in mind that the age will be calculated keeping in mind 1 January 2026.
Number of vacancies and reservation
A total of 67 posts of Food Safety Officers will be recruited through this recruitment. Out of this, 14 posts are reserved for unreserved, 8 for SC, 17 for ST, 23 for OBC, and 5 for EWS as per the category. How will the selection be done?
To be selected in this recruitment, the candidates will first be called for OMR based examination. Three times the number of candidates will be invited for interview based on marks obtained in the examination relative to the posts. The final list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the examination and performance in the interview.
