Current discussions suggest that Khamenei may make his public appearance on June 28 (Saturday). Iran has announced plans to hold a funeral for the commanders and scientists who lost their lives in the Israeli assault on that date. This raises the possibility that Khamenei will attend the funeral prayers for these fallen soldiers.

Khamenei serves as both the political and religious leader of Iran. Historically, he has attended the funerals of prominent commanders and officials. For instance, he traveled to Beirut to participate in the funeral of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was considered close to him.

In 2020, Khamenei was visibly emotional during the funeral of General Qasem Soleimani in Iraq, referring to Soleimani's death as unforgettable, with U.S. agencies being blamed for the assassination.

Given this track record, many believe Khamenei will also leave the bunker to attend the upcoming funeral. According to the Iranian government, the burial of the commanders and scientists will take place at 8 AM on June 28 in Tehran, preceded by a final prayer service, which Khamenei may lead.

Reports indicate that Khamenei has lost contact with senior Iranian officials. This revelation came to light when Turkish President Erdogan attempted to reach Khamenei before U.S. bombings in Iran.

The Iranian president informed Turkey that they could not facilitate communication with Khamenei. His security is managed by Iran's Special Security Guard, known as Sepah-e-Vali-e-Amr.

This force comprises approximately 12,000 bodyguards who fulfill various responsibilities. As tensions escalated, Khamenei entrusted his safety to this unit, leading to his relocation to a secure bunker.
