Behind the glamorous world of Bollywood many stars have also gone through dark times in their lives which were not easy to overcome. Many artists have faced serious illnesses some fought and won over them while some had a deep impact on their careers and lives. One such actress is Pooja Dadwal who debuted with Salman Khan in the year 1995 in the film Veergati. The film may not have been successful at the box office but people definitely noticed Poojas acting. At that time Pooja was only 18 years old and sharing the screen with a big star like Salman was like a dream come true for her. Pooja Dadwal was a rising star Born on 5 January 1977 Pooja Dadwal dreamt of becoming a successful actress. After debuting with Veergati she worked in a few more films and shows including TV shows Aashiqui (1999) and Gharana (2001). However her career did not reach new heights due to continuous flops and weak scripts. Soon she turned to television but here too she did not get the success she had imagined. After some time Pooja distanced herself from the film world and got married and settled in Goa where she started managing the casino business with her husband. A period of illness and loneliness The biggest turning point in Poojas life came in 2018 when she was diagnosed with TB (Tuberculosis). As soon as the disease was detected her husband and in-laws broke off relations with her and she was left alone and helpless in Mumbai. There was no money for treatment no place to live and no support. When her condition started deteriorating further in 2019 Pooja pleaded for help. She sought help from her old friends and the Bollywood industry through social media and media channels. When no one came forward to help Pooja once again Salman Khan showed his big heart. He not only bore the entire cost of her treatment for six months but also made proper arrangements for her living and treatment.
